Available programs

MIU City University Miami offers two undergraduate programmes:  

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration offers high-level training in management, finance, regulation of enterprise, business innovation, and leadership areas. The course guarantees the acquisition of the key skills needed to operate in a vast range of professions in business and take on roles with operational responsibilities including:   

  • Management and Control over Public or Private Companies 
  • Corporate Management and Business 
  • Financial and Fiscal Advisory 
  • Bank and Insurance Services 
  • Business Risk Analysis and Planning Activities 
  • Business Management in Products and Services Firms 
  • Accountant 
  • Goods and Services Marketing Expert 
  • National and International Companies Auditing and Monitoring 
     

Graduates in Computer Engineering will find jobs in industries for automations and robotics, in public and private firms involved in project development and management of informatics and telematics systems, with likely employment in areas including:   

  • Software Applications Planning and Implementing 
  • Computer Procedures Analysis 
  • Web Infrastructures Engineering 
  • Software Engineering and Development

Students who are residents of the United States who are applying to study an undergraduate degree programme at MIU Miami must have a high school diploma or GED. Ap­pli­cants will be con­sid­ered for ad­mis­sion if they are able to provide:   

  • A high school diploma or transcripts 
  • A completed admissions application 
  • A $50 non-refundable application fee 
  • An updated CV or resume 
  • A copy of valid government-issued ID or passport 
     

International students applying to study an undergraduate degree programme at MIU Miami who are not residents of the United States must have a high school diploma or GED. Ap­pli­cants will be con­sid­ered for ad­mis­sion if they are able to provide: 
 

  • Evidence of English proficiency 
  • A high school diploma or transcripts 
  • A completed admissions application 
  • A $50 non-refundable application fee 
  • An updated CV or resume

Graduates from the Master in International Business Administration will have greater opportunities to stand out in their career in professional sectors such as:

The MIU City University campus is in the bustling heart of Miami. Perfect for reaching the beaches and other famous sights of the city, students are sure to find themselves at home and easily entertain guests when they come to visit.    Students who are based in the United States and choose the hybrid study option can make the most of this campus location. International students who are not based in the US can still enjoy the benefits of teaching with a cosmopolitan American attitude. 

MIU City University Miami’s cam­pus is lo­cated in the fi­nan­cial and com­mer­cial dis­trict of Miami, the city’s fastest growing dis­trict. The campus is be­tween Down­town and Brick­ell, where some of the most pres­ti­gious Florida col­leges are located.   The uni­ver­sity occupies an area of 7,210 square feet and includes: 

  • 4 classrooms with a capacity of 30 students each 
  • Library available to students 
  • Kitchen
  • Reception area
  • Administrative office 

 
Courses for the following degrees can be taken on campus in English: 

  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Bachelor of Computer Engineering
  • Master in Educational Leadership, Management and Emerging Technologies
  • Master in International Business Administration 

Student life

Miami is one of the most iconic and vibrant cities in the US, with a distinct blend of traditional American, Caribbean and Latin America cultures. Spanish is widely spoken alongside English, and students in Miami can enjoy some of the most beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions in the world. 


Students at MIU Miami can study in both online and hybrid programs. The MIU on­line study model makes it pos­si­ble to ob­tain an Amer­i­can de­gree and qual­i­fi­ca­tion from wher­ever students live in the world – with­out mov­ing to the United States. This fully-remote means of study means students can make their degree programme compatible with work and fam­ily commitments whilst still ben­e­fitting from all the ad­van­tages that a de­gree from the USA can offer. 
 
For students who choose to move to the US, the on-campus experience in Miami stimulates stu­dent participation through crit­i­cal read­ings and case stud­ies, pro­voking orig­i­nal re­flec­tions and con­clu­sions.  
 
Stu­dents are encouraged to work both in­di­vid­u­ally and in groups, un­der­standing the value of com­par­i­son and ne­go­ti­a­tion, and to de­velop pro­jects by managing and planning effectively. The lessons are aimed at achiev­ing the ob­jec­tives set by the course study plan, as well as at spe­cific trans­ver­sal skills, such as prob­lem-solv­ing, re­sult ori­en­ta­tion, time man­age­ment, sense of re­spon­si­bil­ity, and flex­i­bil­ity.
